Counselling and Coaching

WHAT DOES A COUNSELLING OR COACHING SESSION LOOK LIKE?

Options:
• Face-to-face (cosy cabin, nature-connected space)
• Online / Telehealth (from wherever you feel most at ease)

Booking:
Book online via Cliniko or reach out directly.


WHAT TO EXPECT

• A safe, confidential, non judgemental space
• Grounded reflection and meaningful goal setting
• A focus on wellbeing — healing, clarity, joy, purpose, grounding

• Introduction to nature connections


COUNSELLING

• Supports you to reconnect with your authentic self

• navigate emotions and life transitions

• Explore your wellbeing, life perspective, and direction
• Build trust and express yourself at your own pace
• Stay real, supported, and gently challenged
• Integrate evidence-based approaches including:
EcoTherapy, CBT, Narrative, Gestalt, Reality & Mindfulness

Nature-based grounding may be woven into sessions to support calm, awareness, and connection.

Optional: Jessica’s gentle Tibetan Spaniels, Tiny & Presley, may join you on request.


COACHING

Coaching is forward-focused — helping you grow, gain clarity, and take purposeful action.

• Strengthen decision-making and self-awareness
• Identify values, strengths, and patterns
• Reflect on thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
• Create practical strategies for positive change

Like nature, growth happens with intention, reflection, and small consistent steps.

Self-coaching is also explored -learning to tune into your inner voice and move forward with confidence.

Ecotherapy

 NATURE THERAPY / ECOTHERAPY 

• Therapeutic approaches that brings counselling into connection with nature.

 Nature Therapy = wellbeing + connection in nature
Ecotherapy = counselling + therapeutic work in nature 

• Ecotherapy combines evidence-based counselling with the natural environment to support grounding, clarity, and wellbeing. It invites you to slow down, notice, and reconnect — with yourself ( feelings and thoughts) and the world around you.

• Unlike traditional indoor sessions, nature becomes part of the process, helping you explore emotions, patterns, and behaviours in a more embodied and present way.


Ecotherapy can support:
• emotional regulation and clarity
• self-awareness and reflection
• stress reduction and grounding
• insight into thoughts, feelings, and behaviours


Sessions may involve:

•  walking, sitting, or reflecting in natural spaces — allowing space for both movement and stillness. If mobility is limited, nature-based approaches are available on-site in/around office cabin.


Ecotherapy can be:
• 1:1 or small group
• structured or self-directed
• active (walking) or reflective (sitting)
• guided indoors or outdoors


A simple, grounded way to reconnect — through nature, presence, and conversation.


Wellness Workshops

At Jessica Kane Counselling, wellness is a whole-person approach supporting mental, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing — restoring balance, strength, and connection.

These workshops blend counselling, coaching, and nature-based practice with reflective, creative, and movement-based activities. They support you to slow down, unpack what’s present, and reconnect with clarity.

Workshops are active, reflective, and gently challenging, supporting change through experience.

They support reconnection through:
• self-awareness and emotional insight

• Duration: 3.5 hours
• Group size: 6–8 participants
• Style: experiential, supportive, reflective
• Approach: counselling-informed, coaching-supported, nature-connected

Sessions include conversation, reflection, creative tasks, movement, and time in nature to help you unpack and integrate what arises.


Facilitated by Jessica Kane Counselling, these workshops are inclusive and welcoming, and may suit participants accessing the NDIS, offering a safe, supportive space for growth and connection.
